China currently purchases approximately one-third of all exports from New Zealand. What would happen if China chooses to buy goods from other countries instead? In this editorial investigation, I collaborated with National Correspondent Lucy Craymer and Data Reporter Felippe Rodrigues to develop a visual representation of the impact of changes in China's trade patterns and to help visualize the associated data.
